It's warmer today and you have swapped woolly socks for a sun hat?

A July one. Truth be told we tend to avoid the seaside come high summer. DSCF1801.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
I thought that looked familiar, Pete... so I had to peek to see if you'd identified it. (I was right! )

Yes... that would have been MUCH easier.
I think that your first Bigbury shot is (strictly speaking) actually of Challaborough... although it was probably taken from a point in Bigbury.

Yes we just walked a hundred or so yards uphill from the Bigbury car-park to see what was the other side of the headland. The classic photo I've shown here many times. It would have done for converge in the daily theme the other day. DSCF1794.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

A mate of mine, at the time, we were Norbury residents, visiting a favourite beach of ours in Manitoba, during the summer of, I believe, 1980 ... Cheers, Jack

This was a really, really hot day in August 2009 (can filter on month August in Lightroom) _MG_0207.jpg by Pete, on Flickr I remember being very frustrated trying to get pictures of the heather in bloom. The broken cloud was quite thick and the shadows passing across almost turned black. All the pictures were terribly exposed - burned sky and too dark ground. This was an editing attempt on the heather made in 2021. I tried to do a better job this morning but just made it worse _MG_0214.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
