I'd heard of the expression "blue hour" but I didn't really appreciate how blue the sky went after dark until I decided to try out an X-H1 that I had bought - this was in 2019 and I was interested in how the IBIS would work. DSCF3976-Pano.jpg by Pete, on Flickr and then again, somewhat later (2020), when I reprocessed this image from 2011 I was really surprised at what the processing did to the "black sky" on what would have been a reject photo if it hadn't been a holiday pic - taken with a Canon 5D balanced on a camera bag at 1/8s @f4 and an (unstabilised) 17-40 @ 24 mm. This is a 2024 re-edit with better LR tools of the 2020 attempt and probably posted here in February. IMG_0100-Enhanced-NR.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
