Looks like a glorified canoe to me. Collective noun is still just a fleet or flotilla but perhaps someone should come up with one for beached varieties. See my post at #6...beachtilla!

Well it isn't a Longboat. I've seen one in a museum, I can't remember if that was in Sweden or in Norway, let alone the name of the town. I don't know what it is though. There seems to be no keel or centreboard so it won't sail that well although the one to the left does look like it has a mount for a mast, nor can I see rowlocks so presumably it isn't propelled by oars. That exhausts my knowledge of boats. A look for collective nouns suggests that some small sailing dinghy classes may have "fun" collective names based on the class name but I wasn't motivated to read on. They are all rowing dinghys, frequently used as tenders to yachts - but also sometimes for fishing & general messing around. The viewpoint Nigel has chosen exaggerates the length wrt to beam so Long boat (note two words were used) is a title that fits well enough IMO.
