The man who once failed an audition for a part playing the son of a character played by James Fox. In other words, the casting director didn't even think he could play himself. In fact, the only role of his anyone can think of is playing sidekick to John Thaw's sidekick. Or as someone put it rather bluntly, apart from Billie Piper he's never been in anything of note.
Although I have to say, he gave me a good laugh once. You may be unaware that in between the acting career and the political career he tried singing. Feast your eyes and ears on this:

Well, he's mainly done film work, but been in a few larger TV series. Gosh, he even played a drunk in Marple! 
If you are going to be rude about him, at least try for a bit of accuracy.
