I haven’t driven in many years but I’m sure if I was still driving I wouldn’t answer the phone or use it whilst driving. It one of my pet hates and I used to gesticulate to people using one. Now I’m in my wheelchair in the back of our vehicle I can’t see them I hope they didn't gesticulate back...

I’m normally easy going but he had annoyed me so I overtook and slammed on the brakes got out and he had locked the bus door. Just as well because I was fuming

Got in front of him at next bus stop and just cycled as slowly as possible in the middle of the lane to stop him passing. Very silly and very satisfying.

In my work, I have to phone users quite often. on the odd occasion it's obvious that they are driving, so I'll tell them that I'll call back. Even on hands free, I think a phone call is far too distracting while driving.

Even on hands free, I think a phone call is far too distracting while driving. I decided that an incoming call was more distracting than making one, mainly because I had control over when to make the outgoing call and could thus ensure there was a place to pull over if necessary. I now have my phone set to block call when in the car. Annoying for callers but necessary.

Apparently it can get you worked up & cause on-going distractions after the call is finished, but I'm sure the distraction I'd get from a policeman talking to me about using my mobile in the car would be far more significant. Fortunately my mobile is very rarely used for work & has never caused a heated discussion, more commonly it's along the lines of 'I'm outside now, come along if you want that lift'
