My brother needed surgery and afterwards informed us before the op the nurse had come up and given him a proposition
I was only when he added where she has inserted the "proposition" we realized he meant "suppository"

A few years ago in the smoking room at work, former colleague Paula was discussing a young guy who worked on the site temporarily and who also played in a heavy rock band. He was heavily tattooed and had piercings in his ears, face and nose. And, as Paula suggested, "he's probably got one of them King Edwards."

The first home we bought was on Prince Albert Terrace here in Helensburgh.

I used to commute to Royal Albert DLR and I always thought it was a good idea they didn't call it Prince Albert, I always imagined a planning committee naming the stations and saying "We could call it Prince Albert after all that was where the Prince Albert docks were" and someone having to explaining to the rest of the committee why it might be a better idea to call it Royal Albert

Not forgetting Kenny Everet's gem Cupid stunt Many, many years ago I saw a very funny group of ladies performing as Cunning Stunts. As with a performance of The Vagina Chronicles my wife and I saw a few years ago, I was one of very few men in the audience. My sense of humour coped on both occasions.
