The Seven Samurai - I saw a new print of the complete version at a BFI regional film theatre in the late 1970s. Over 3 hours long, but seemed like half that. It makes the US version (The Magnificent Seven) look like rubbish.

Kurosawa wasn't impressed by the US version.
iirc the only US version of one of his films he approved of was Last Man Standing, a remake of Yojimbo. Which, as that was his version of Red Harvest (possibly) is a bit odd.
