I’m saying that in my best Victor Mildred voice🤣 I seem to have lost my water bottle I use on respite care and I went on Amazon to check out a replacement. Well all said and done it’s a plastic bottle how dear can it be? Answer is very if you’re mad. Some of the bottles are almost £100 that is completely bonkers! I’m looking at them for sub ten quid and there’s people out there selling them for ten times my budget and I bet people are buying them.

Were the expensive ones Stanley? There was a viral video last year where a car went on fire but the insulated Stanley cup in the cup holder was intact and still had ice in it. IIRC it generated so much good press for the company they bought her a new car and their products have been selling for $100 or something crazy like that.

Now you have hi - lited the Stanley ones I want one but the cheapest Stanley mug on Amazon is about thirty quid and I can’t bring myself to actually do it. Part of me wants to but then I can’t do it. It’s the principal of it. My first car after I passed my test was twenty pounds and here we are fifty one years later paying half as much again for a mug, addmitedly a ver nice mug but it’s still a f*#king MUG

A few years ago I wanted another thermos flask. Bought a Stanley one - and hate it. There's something about it being a steel inner that (to me) taints whatever I put in it. Apart from that, it was uselessly tiny in capacity. I've still got my large plastic Thermos brand one with glass liner. Just hope it lasts as long as I do.

I got a newer 24-105mm lens mug for Christmas but this pic is with the old one.... Had it in my camera bag up at a busy viewpoint by Loch Ness where tourists line up to take selfies so they would see me take it out the bag and lob a lens into the water .

Lol I know what you’re saying and I agree wholeheartedly. My wife Heather has been to Tesco and brought me a normal one for less than a tenner. So banished from my mind are all of those pretentious thoughts of a super duper Stanley Mug.. Be gone I say Be gone

But it might be the ice has melted and the resulting water shorts out the electric system causing an explosion 💥 that overheated the local district grid burning down 600 houses causing a cloud ☁️ so black five aircraft crash. They wipe out75% of the population……. Blah blah blaaaa all of which could have been avoided had I bought the Stanley cup. What do you reckon my chances are of my wife buying this scenario? " go on be honest break it to me gently 🥳😘😂🎉
