...I've been sent a discount code by someone I said nice things about on Fartbook, drop me a line and I'll share it (she did say "you, or anyone you know").

I already have my ticket.... as an "oldie", the price is not discountable but is still less than the full price with the "usual" discount codes that are being bandied about.
Just have to hope that there are no railtrack works this year on the Saturday and that I can get a good train ticket price by "splitting my ticket" as usual

No, too noisy for me. The only thing I have a vague interest in looking at is the Fuji GX 100 ii with a 30 mm TSE lens on it and I'll be better off going to the Fuji house of photography in Long Acre, London for that. The last photography show I went to was to look at the Fuji GFX 50 when it first came out and I couldn't get close. Fuji must be having terrible trouble shifting GFX stock for the new camera - they extended the £2,700 off the GFX 100S for another 3 months.

I managed to get train tickets in advance for a reasonable price... I noticed that when the floorplan was made available, there were 2 different halls being used this year, smaller than the usual ones.... and so my suspicions were confirmed today... it was a much smaller show than "usual". Not so many smaller independent sellers/companies there. The Disabled Photographers Society stand was possibly the busiest and they were grateful for my donations. I only bought a couple of books and some magazines this year, no really spectacular deals on equipment that I found, plus I didn't have too much money to spend anyway. Nevertheless, a good day out and it was interesting. Roll on next year !

Ah, I thought I couldn't means it because it was next weekend, now I realise I can't make it because it's weekend! Next year...

"Next year": Printed on the back page of the show guide is the information that it will be held from 8 to 11 March 2025. Pencil the dates in your diaries, everyone.....

"Next year": Printed on the back page of the show guide is the information that it will be held from 8 to 11 March 2025. Pencil the dates in your diaries, everyone..... I'm waiting for the junk mail to stop. They have been incessant this year. It is automatically filtered off so the impact is small but somehow they've not only got my main email address as well as the one I use for things like the photography show but they are sending out double mailings so I've been getting four emails every other day for months.
