I agree with above. I would like to contribute to the forum’s running costs too.
I am a member of a canal boating forum which has a button to contribute money to the running of the forum. By the way, it’s not a Proboards one as far as I know, so I don’t know how this can be achieved on this forum.

At the risk of being a humble-bragger, I've paid more in fines in one skittles match than what I have paid out to run the forum (yes, I am truly shite at skittles). In the unlikely event that our paths cross you can buy me a pint. If not just pay it forward and do a good deed for someone.

In the unlikely event that our paths cross you can buy me a pint. If not just pay it forward and do a good deed for someone. I did play social club 10 pin for a couple of years.
Skittles twice socially. One of those times was a "Works Night Out".
I was doing not bad till the time I was just swinging the ball back between my legs for a mighty chuck when one of the young women that I was the line manager of said rather loudly and with premedited vicious comedic effect - "Ae, nice bum though".
Talk aboot a riddi?

Talk aboot a riddi? My skittles games are accompanied by the rattling of the fines tin and huge amounts of sledging. Over the course of a season we get enough fines to fund a weekend away on the beer. My finest sledge was when our captain had a shocking miss. "Don't worry about it Mark. The best skipper's aren't necessarily the best players!". The last thing he said to me was "handbag".  |

In the last 3 days I've had at least a dozen junk Emails from obscure sites. It is a nuisance isn’t it. My main personal email address has somehow got onto a spam list and I’ve been inundated this last month or two, lots of them look, from the titles, like phishing attempts. It is important not to open them as this can reveal the email address is “live”. My spam filter catches most of them. The email address I use for when I suspect marketing spam might arise, and which I use for web-sites like this one, has been very quiet spam-wise, unusually quiet, for the last quarter and mainly from familiar sources. |
