That's not like you, allowing jumped up officials to tell you what you can and can't do.
She was rather butch and scary though. Not worthy of my wit!

Closest I am going to get for this today (lovely day today) is evidence of underground workings : DSCF6872.jpg by Pete, on Flickr DSCF6874.jpg by Pete, on Flickr These from Ness Gardens wilderness area today. They usually get trodden flat in short order.

Photography is not permitted on the stations of the system, doesn't prevent all the selfies etc though. Away from the central core it's not really enforced as there is nobody there to do so anyway.

I'm trying to be philosophic about the need [today] to move everything to a new computer [collected yesterday]. I don't see any photographic opportunities in this task. If I don't post anything new[-ly taken] for a few days than it all went pear-shaped.

I have found as I've grown old and gone through quite a lot in the last years, that my confidence is out the window. I'm even nervous of booting up a new Kindle , or getting my kitchen tap replaced. I mooch along OK so long as nothing unexpected happens, then I'm in a panic. Good luck with the new computer. Once you start, it will all come back to you.

I mooch along OK so long as nothing unexpected happens, then I'm in a panic. Good luck with the new computer. Once you start, it will all come back to you. Brave doesn't come into it. It's got to be done. But I know what you mean, I'm less ready to take on tasks than I was even a few years ago - for what it is worth that includes a dripping kitchen tap (and a bathroom one). I'm annoyed about the computer because it is "obsolescence" that is driving the replacement rather than a need for repair etc. Ditto my smartphone with 3G ending. At least the ipad was broken as well as obsolete. I hasn't been able to run Adobe updates for 2-3 years now and the bank website is complaining about use of an unsupported browser. It should be a straightforward process on a mac - just plug in the system backup disk and click "migrate" - and everything should come across, passwords and all. Then tidy up doing software updates though I might have to "buy new" for a couple of programs and the chance of the photo-printer working is slim. We'll see! First I have to tidy up the "office". No room to move in here let alone put a third computer in so this one will "go" into a corner for the moment.
