I feel I should honour my family, so here's an old shot of my wife & kids that I don't think you've seen before Leapfrog in IR by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr

Following on from Keith's idea of Honouring the dead here's a shot of some of our workshop members we no longer see Indoors IR flash by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr Mike was chairman for many years, & Sid celebrated his 90th birthday with us - both of these were founder members & made a particularly significant contribution to the group during their lives. NB. The strange colouring is down to an odd mixture of lighting - the rooms fluorescent tubes along with an IR flash, all recorded with a modified full spectrum camera.

Like, Keith, for 'honour', a set of Remembrance Day snaps I took back in 2019, the lady in Red was a World War II widow and the gentleman in the wheelchair was a World War II Indigenous veteran and, both, were 100 years of age. The other snaps just caught my attention. ****actually, screw it .. I add one file at 105kb and that's the limit ... Cheers, Jack Hi Jack, I suspect it relates to forum storage and hosting fees, Martin @mjb did consider various options including introducing an optional pay to play, donation scheme. This was going to get complicated very quickly with associated business and tax issues. It was discussed a couple of months ago, I think Martin both limited file sizes and number of files hosted per post. I don't know but suspect the image in your signature counts towards these limits, image hosting elsewhere and linking the images keeps them off the server, I use Flickr but other options also work. It is a shame that your post failed, I know most of us like to see your take on the world's goings on.

Aw, thanks for the heads up, Keith and will remove the 'signature image' and see if that makes a difference . Cheers, Jack

Although this looks a bit like a horses hard, it is actually a daphnia, less than 1mm long - as a prepared (& presumable dyed) microscope slide. iced daphnia by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr I guess it qualifies for 'tiny'. I have shots with a considerably smaller FOV, but they're only showing part of the subject.

Tiny vase. I don't know what this was originally - perhaps perfume? Found in a buried rubbish heap when we first came to the old house in 1988. orchid by Kate Ferris, on Flickr

Not much that is truly tiny. I don't seem to have a picture of the [self-claimed] smallest house in Wales at Conwy but not a million miles away I have a picture of a Little Grebe at the far end at Bodnant where the Little Grebe is almost too small to see, and half of what you can see is reflection. It wasn't deliberate because I didn't see them until the photograph was on the screen. From when I was practicing flower pictures with the ring-flash last July. I've left this at the original crop and resize rather than trying to make it an insect macro. Aphids and Ant. 274A1692.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I remember taking pictures of a Peel P50 and talking about how Top Gear took one inside BBC White City, but can I find them? No.
I do have some small trams, on the Seaton Tramway in Devon. Bigger than the Romney Hythe and Dymchurch railway, probably about 2/3 the size of a real tram.
You may say that is small not tiny, every thing is scaled down including the width of the enclosed stair way that we travelled on, this did not impress the two rather rotund individuals who actually got stuck attempting to climb to the top deck.

If you use your imagination then, more or less bang in the middle, you can see the two ladies and a dog. I obviously got fed up waiting for them to move out of sight and judged them tiny enough in the frame to ignore. The lady on the right has a red jacket on which blends in a bit. The dog looks like a big Alsatian and that is roughly as close as I feel comfortable with dogs, especially miles from anywhere. IMG_0020.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
