Possibly. Doesn't stop it looking like wet sand though. The duck, with a group of its colleagues, was photographed on a very cold morning at a local pond that had frozen over, and there was a very thin layer of water above the ice as it began to thaw. Interestingly, nobody looks at the the feet and notices this until I point it out.
