Lightroom on the other hand found the "Bright" in "New Brighton" and as it turns out the result was quite bright. Across the Mersey (2016 - probably on APForum in 2021) BV9R0235.jpg by Pete, on Flickr Coincidentally, I had just put in bright in my Flickr. As well as the one above your post, it also brought up my New Brighton images.

The other photo LR found wasn't so bright but it is a nice picture and the subject is long destroyed by storms, although I have a vague idea that someone wanted to make another. Once a bright idea at New Brighton, now no more (2016 picture, APForum likely November 2021) DSCF0048.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

As an idea I was looking for the flicker of a digital sign which appears to be constant by virtue of the persistence of vision but is frequently refreshed. I guess that I have deleted all the obvious ones because that is not what I was looking for at the time, if viewed full size on Flickr you can just about see it on the front of this train. Bethnal Green IMG_2612editBW by Keith Hudson, on Flickr Perhaps someone else has a better example.

A rare sight these days The gentle flicker of a real oil lamp Cold winters night on the Thames Lights on the far bank flicker in the water

I've been thinking all day and I can't imagine how "flicker" can be captured in a still, given that it is by nature an observed or perceived moment of change. I guess the closest I got in the last week is more dapple than anything - backlit leaves in the wind. Not really flickering. DSCF6163.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
