Living by the coast means I'm spoilt for choice for pictures with water in them. Here's another one... Fun on the water. Riding High by Nigel Hayes, on Flickr

Best of today's "liquid" though the picture doesn't really sum up the word. You'd have to know that ponds are wet. Bit overcast, cold and windy but OK out of the wind. Was really a day for tripod, remote release and a bigger format camera than an APS-C compact. DSCF0880.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I wish I had looked at the theme list before we went out yesterday to Ness Gardens. Any way I felt a bit sorry for this bush. Photo taken in the heritage orchard at Cotehele on November 9th - (I don't remember wandering into this orchard before - it has lots of ancient (non-commercial varieties) apple trees) which is quite huge. DSCF6252.jpg by Pete, on Flickr Terrible photo - but this apple tree (bare of leaves) was one of a few left un-picked. Whether this is food for wildlife for winter or indicates that these particular apples are inedible I don't know. Also I don't know why I kept this photo, I deleted all the others! From Ness Gardens yesterday. Magnolia leaves. It was the size and colour that took my eye. The photo was disappointing because in it they have a "nothing" look whereas on the tree they looked more notable. DSCF0860.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
