From the sequence of photos I took my reply to your original post, there are some interesting reflections of both Steph and myself, they are not even allowed on the bedroom wall never mind on Flickr.

Old pic of CatCat the stray cat who moved in with us, is now sadly long gone to cat heaven and is much missed. CatCat by Keith Hudson, on Flickr With his eyes closed he was all black, so black he was almost Vantablack and near impossible to expose for.

I'm a bit short on things black. Unless I include the black jaguar picture I processed for (if I remember) a "low key" theme in the APForum. That is pretty black. Anyway : Blackbird - usually a sign of a completely failed day out looking for birds to picture. what the heck - it is the only black pic I have got - the heavily manipulated picture of a Jaguar that you have all seen before (in March 2022) BV9R0093.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Closest I can get to a domestic black cat. She used to hang around the allotment. Long gone. Just discovered that Lightroom auto-mask doesn't pick up whiskers so easily so I've lost the ends in trying to reduce the impact of the background. IMG_0032.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
