The beaches were closed for the Clacton Rally stages along the sea front, but I thought the enforcement was a little OTT  Beach guard? by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr It's the only time I've seen a warship anchored off our coast. |

The shape of the bokeh in this shot was created by a card mask, held against the front of the lens  vauxhall griffin eats ducks by Mike Kanssen, on Flickr The shape was probably a little large in this version, giving rise to vignetting. |
