My wife & I both love Runrig, though I prefer the early stuff with Munro & she's keener on the later with Guthry.

More Stair ways, this time reminds my of an Album. Slippery when wet. - Bon Jovi 1986 best known for the single Livin' on a Prayer. As I used to say, stuff that for a game of soldiers!!! Reminds me of the leafy steps down to the restaurant in the castle grounds. Lethal when covered by leafy wet detritus. They have built new access after that old one collapsed after a storm (I think). We haven't been there since it reopened but I think the climb is eliminated. I didn't recognise Keith's steps to begin with but I have a photograph from the other side of the cliff that shows them. There was quite some fuss about the new bridge across.

‘Roses are blooming in Picardy, In the hush of the silver dew, Roses are flow'ring in Picardy, But there's never a rose like you! And the roses will die with the summertime, And our roads may be far apart, But there's one rose that dies not in Picardy! 'Tis the rose that I keep in my heart!’

Whether it shows the summit or not I don't know but it is the closest I've been to the top of it (Snowdon) in many a year. DSCF3606.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

A closer view of Mont Blanc. Parapente and Aiguille du Midi by Keith Hudson, on Flickr The Aiguille du Midi, the pointy bit at the top, is about the closest to the summit of Mont Blanc skiers can get without a serious hike or a helicopter. We did not even get that close as had been advised that the first bit of piste at the very top was challenging for very good skiers.
