The price of wine will be kept higher if they destroy their excess stock, it seems silly to destroy it rather than sell it. But maybe I’m just being the stupid guy wishing to get cheap wine 🍷

But maybe I’m just being the stupid guy wishing to get cheap wine 🍷 It won't work like that in Scotland as there is minimum pricing of 50p per unit of alcohol so a bottle of wine is likely to cost at least a fiver regardless of how cheap the retailer can get it for. |
