Haven't bought any since last year, so it'll be a bit more expensive now, but Lidl do a very decent Riesling for around a fiver. Sadly, the 2.5% Normandy cider has long gone... Oh, I'd forgotten about that cider. We've had several very quaffable German whites from Lidl, particularly from their wine tour range, about £8. Never understood why people go crazy for really dry whites, not my taste at all. I am cutting down on sugar for health reasons. |
