All gone quiet on the migrant issue at the moment especially about The barge and Rwanda, maybe the government is managed to stop the boats crossing the channel It was within the last fortnight that it was in the news AGAIN for grim reasons. Given the short time it's been in use, having a death and serious concerns regarding overcrowding, it seems fair to call it an unmitigated disaster. When I was a boy Rwanda was a news topic for drought and disaster now it’s back again for stupid reasons of deporting unwanted immigrants. Legality aside why can’t we find a way of stopping this illegal migration |

If it were there's loads of people on the Hamble or in Cowes that immigration should be arresting. What is illegal is not declaring your arrival and intention in the UK. Given that these people seek asylum on arrival they've broken no law. |

Did you know that we've already taken in asylum seekers sent here from Rwanda?
In the deal our Government made with Rwanda, they get to send asylum seekers who arrive in their country to the UK!

Josh Simons, Head of the Labour think tank has said that the people trafficers should be put on the barge and sent to Scotland.
Maybe he joined the wrong party by mistake?
