Yes I've got lots of shots of those lights too though mine aren't easily to hand We used to have fancy lights here in Helensburgh too. Ours were specially commissioned for the town's centenary I think, and featured a design to represent the Comet paddlesteamer as designed by Henry Bell, to whom there is an obelisk dedicated, which sits outside my front window. However the current council decided to get rid and now we have some bog-standard lights at great expense representing nothing more than the council's continued insistence on spending vast amounts of money on sub-standard vanity projects that nobody wants. Perhaps in years to come there'll be a memorial erected in the shape of a bin full of money on fire. Sorry. Rant over.
