Judging by the minimum effort put into the nest, I think this Swan was taken by surprise A clutch of dinosaur eggs ( props from Dino day at the railway)

To break the ice as it were. A joiner of 5 scanned 35 mm negatives. Taken probably 2000/2001 this is a small cliff (probably quarried for sandstone) at HeronBridge on the River Dee three or so miles from Chester. I had had it as 6x4" overlapping prints glued together and thought that it would be fun to try in Lightroom. The joiner, after cropping is 9240 x 2311 pixels and this version reduced to 800 on the long side. Was posted on APForum in February 2022 which was when I did the scanning. img20220206_01-Pano.jpg by Pete, on Flickr Edit: I also found that I had tried to reproduce the whole of the glued up print (I think it is seven prints long) but it is a bit spidery especially when reduced to 800 pix on the long edge. This is 12857x 2273 pixels original as a Lightroom panorama merge after cropping. img20220206_02-Pano.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

Cadover cross. There are many crosses on Dartmoor that mark ancient routes across the moor and their crossings. DSCF1928.jpg by Pete, on Flickr

I should have started with this but it wasn't keyworded on Flickr so I had to go to the computer and find the filename. Looks like I posted it here before back in May. The Cross, Chester. Originally marked the intersection of the main routes through the town. IMG_0003.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
