If you open "Kiev 4m" on the left side menu, you see 3 cameras, all with levers. On the other hand, it is possible they were using up old parts, when they assembled yours. What is the serial number? There seems to be some confusion about when the "m" models were first produced - some sources say 1976, others say 1980. I have a 1979 produced camera, which is the older "4" style.

Totally ignore my post, misread it as a result of wrong glasses as "wind-on".
Sorry John.

Well I've been sorting out my garage for the last few days, and found several boxes of film cameras. They were my father in law's, and they've been sitting around doing nothing - I had forgotten about them to be honest.
And what an odd selection. Not all film cameras, there's a selection of old digicams too - a Kodak 1.6MP one, and several Olympus models. And a few Smart Media cards...
Weird collection of film cameras. A Minolta SR-T 102 with a totally wrecked shutter. American versions of the Nikon F801S and Minolta Dynax 7000i, plus an F50 an a 505 Si Super. An Oly IS-2000 and an IS-1000, plus several Superzooms. A couple of Dixons-special Mirandas made by Cosina. A Praktica B200 and a BC3. Canon Z115 and a Z135, and several APS-C Ixus models.
And a selection of lenses - Mitacons, Panagors, Ozecks, a few Pentacons, a Cosinon-W 24mm in PK, a Sigma or two. Lots of very tatty bags, a couple of much nicer ones. And a Zeiss 30.5mm red filter and a Bayonet I Rolleinar close-up lens set. And several teleconverters, including a Tamron SP BBAR one in PK.
Me being me, the Prakticas are always welcome, I've often fancied a go with those Canon compacts - the lenses were very well regarded - some of the PK stuff is interesting, and the Zeiss filter and Rolleinar are fantastic. The big Nikon is something I want a go with - when I first bought an AF SLR, I tried 3 competitors I could afford, and one I couldn't in the shop. The one I couldn't was the F801, which was my second favourite of the 4. The others were the F601, which I thought was pretty awful, and the Dynax 7000i - which I now have, which was third favourite. Clear winner was the Canon EOS 100, and I've been a Canon user ever since. And a quick play with them now and my views haven't changed - the Canon's handling is streets ahead, the near silent USM AF so much better than the screw drive of the others - although the Minolta is quick enough - but I'll give them a run out just to be absolutely sure.

One on the right appears to be using a Pentax of some sort? No idea what the cine camera is.
Quality's not great, but apparently the negatives were lost and all the pics are blow-ups from contact sheets.
ETA: i link doesn't seem to work. Sorry about that.

Not a Pentax - a Nikon F with a motor drive.

Approximately due East of where I am sitting I can see two Nikon F5s. I have mentioned them previously on the AP forum but obviously, that is gone.

Not a Pentax - a Nikon F with a motor drive. I was the pointy pentaprism housing that confused me.

Lots of film cameras used in Forensic Detectives (old US TV series repeated on Quest Red) - usually on screen for too short a period to be identified, though in one of today's episodes they lingered long enough to get a good look at a Nikon FM2.

Cameraworld ad in the latest AP, looks like a Fed 3 variant to me.

Akira Nishitani, the designer for games like Street Fighter 2 used his camera to take pictures that were then used to design the graphics in the games. Still from a Netflix documentary "High Score"...

I spotted a lomography oktomat in a charity shop last week (not the local one that specialises in photographic gear). A really weird beast with 8 lenses that shoot sequentially.
