It's a shame that at the bottom of a "page" on a thread there is no option to progress onto the first, next or last page of the thread. This only seems to appear at the top of the page you are viewing, by the first post on that page On MS Edge the navigation between pages remains visible at the top of the page, regardless where you have scrolled to. On the mobile version there is page navigation at the top and bottom of a thread. At the risk of sounding like a stuck record, what OS and browser are you using? I use Windows 10 and Google Chrome (both are up to date) on a desktop PC, and I only have the page number/next bar at the top of the page. So when I reach the bottom of a page I need to scroll back to the top before I can progress to another page. Very tedious . . .

Safari on the iPad keeps the prev page numbers and next in view all the time.

When you get to the last post on a page, click the settings icon (cogwheel) with a 'down' arrow attached to it on the extreme right of the post, then click on the last entry on the drop-down list 'Back to Top'. It does what it says on the tin.

So does hitting the Home key. Which is a tad quicker. My Home key is on the right side of the keyboard, which means I have to take my hand off the mouse to hit it, and also it only works if I turn off Num Lock first, and of course I then have to turn it back on again. Fortunately I have some programmable keys on the left of the keyboard, P1 to P6, and now P6 does all that magic without letting the mouse escape.

So does hitting the Home key. Which is a tad quicker. What “Home” key? On a windows key board it is above the End key. On a mac keyboard it is the NW pointing arrow - I only learned this last week from another post on the forum referring to the End key. On an ipad which has no such keys, scrolling is the only way. Luckily the forum pages hold few posts.

Home is Fn ←
End is Fn →
Page Up is Fn ↑
Page Down is Fn ↓
Forward Delete is Fn delete

Must be more than one mac keyboard then. Mine is a wired one and has a similar physical layout to an IBM keyboard though the key positions differ in detail and it is a lot smaller. Hash (#) is alt-£ - I guess because # is called pound in the US.

Firefox also shows the page selector as one scrolls down.

Not a moan, just a query. In the old days, I just typed @ and the user name to bring something to their attention. How do I do it on here?
