I didn't think that putting "grass" into Lightroom would give anything but I'd forgotten that my late brother had a house near Grasse which I visited once when I was on a business trip to Nice. So some french grass from Grasse - a bit parched because it was July (2009) - but perhaps more interesting than the pics of the green stuff that a search of my photo-stream on Flickr found. On the mostly green stuff. I suppose my favourite grassland to walk on is that around Down Tor, above Burrator Reservoir, on Dartmoor. It is quiet, easy to get to by car (although it has become over-popular lately) and the lower slopes are quite gentle walking and sheltered from the wind. DSCF4874.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
