I'd be up for this! Might finally get that Swinger to you So a camera meet is a euphemism for something more... "Glad you could make it. Just pop your car keys in this bowl"

OK, I am going to dangle a date out and see how it looks. Its a little earlier then I suggested, but Saturday 9th September is the start of the Open Doors weekend where lots of things are open to the public that are not usually. If I can find a link I'll pop it in in a mo.
If that's not so clever, I'd suggest the 16th, 23rd, 30th are not yet busy in my calendar, or October 14th. Later than that and weather might be getting autumnal.
ETA too early for any info on link.

I couldn't do 9th or 16th. 23rd is a slight possibility if I tie it on driving back from Europe as I'd be passing by Oxford on the way home (depending of course when I leave Spain) 30th would work for me.

30th would be the only date I could do. I could pop in to Balliol College and ask why a higher seat of learning congratulated my son on his graduation when he quit after the first year.

I'm thinking that the Park and Ride is the best (Possibly only) option?
GMaps gives me 2h 30mins from here but undoubtedly longer on the day.

Looking a though it might be the 30th so far, then. daves, P&R def best option on day, Oxford near enough a no-go zone for cars these days. There are various Premier Inns and Travelodges, if you are not restricted to own bed and bog.

I'll be going up by train and camping on the outskirts of Oxford (as usual for a photography meet-up)

"Glad you could make it. Just pop your car keys in this bowl" Where does that leave me when I don't have a car?
