I have been unable to find this forum via google. Is there something I don't understand? Will new members be able to find us? Mick I use MS Bing, and it got it first time, top of page, using the title with spaces instead of hyphens. It also pulled up references to posts on AP about it. Did you include .proboards.com in your search? |

It'll be months or years before this forum shows up in Google as often as the AP site did. Google relies on more than just the content, it relies on links to that content from elsewhere to drive 'trust', and so until people start linking to this site from other places, it'll be low down in the rankings unless you search *specifically* for the name.

Mick Same here, I had to use the link on the AP forum on my laptop and mobile phone, on which I still cannot log into my account here as they insist I am already incorrectly logged in on another Proboards forum (which I am). The desktop PC had no problem with my registration or accessing this forum |

Hallo ALL -- Yrs its'Old PentaxPete' still alive and snapping after 6 Cancers and just discharged from Basildon Hospital after TWO in-Patient sessions !
I read about the 'AP Forum 'closing this month -- I am on MANY Photo Forums -- 'PETE E' on AP some under 'ELMARMAN' for my Leica stuff and some under ;
'Old Film Bloke' etc etc -- I got 'known' for my PENTAX cameras but now have been GIVEN loads of 'other Systems' - old film cameras but a couple of OLYMPUS 4/3rds Digital as well -- all the Surgeons and Oncologists are amazed I'n STILL ALIVE but it it my interest in my PHOTOGRAPHY with Old cameras and FILM that keeps me going -- and messing about making up B & W Developers from the Chemicals !

Looks like the old AP Forum has closed within the last few minutes, I was able to open it and read posts, then got to the games room, entyered a reply to Word association, then moved to Wordle solved it after a struggle in 6 but when I tried to save my reply got nowt, screen remained at the reply, tried refreshing and a few other options, finally got the Home Kelsey AP site - no forum. At one point I did get a page header "AP Forum - Facebook" but no apparent forum or link
EDIT, there is now a sort of goodbye page with links to the magazine site and has pleas to visit and/or buy the mag.
