I can't find anything more in Lightroom.  I must be thinking of something shot on film.  Must restart my digitise-the-negs project.  I distinctly remember going to a huge gun emplacement/battery but I can't remember the name or locate anything on the net that looks familiar.   Could have been 30 years ago. My wife thinks we had the kids with us and that they were small.


Edit:  it was Crownhill Fort, Plymouth.  No pics found.

I've not got much in the way of photos of translucent things (more commonly they are used for diffusing the light & are kept out of frame)
However skin does become somewhat translucent in IR & sometimes this can show veins below the skin or tattoos (even after they've been removed).
Not the best example but this one does show traces of what's below the skin

probably my earliest digital through a window shot. Not sure the exact date but taken on my Sony Cybershot, through a bus window as I was going home. Yes, it's the shelter at the bus station.
