As an even older man I use a Rollator, - wheeled walking aid with seat, storage space under the seat with room for camera and or snacks, you could also hang a camera bag on the framework; having reached a suitable location put the brakes on take the camera out and mount it on an articulated arm clamped to the rollator frame such that you can get clicking. Alternatively put the camera on a monopod which you also have clipped to the framework in the holder intended for a brolly. I can sit all day at a folk festival or air show provided I remember to take spare cards, I also have a second clamp to hold a JVC video. The monopod is essential for the air shows, dancing at folk festivals usually takes place on a stage or within a confined area so the monopod is not usually needed
