Reto Ultra Wide and Slim, under £35. 22mm lens, fixed focus/shutter speed. Load with HP5+ etc. and snap snap snap. Stop prevaricating! You know you're going to get it anyway!! No true photographer can resist Gear Acquisition Syndrome, so get out that plastic!!!

I'm erring on the side on delivery delay caution and have decided to not order one before I go. If one should happen to appear in front of me in a Japanese camera shop I may or may not be able to resist, but right now the Holga is coming with me, and possibly the Holga pinhole.

I voted yes because they look fun and you like alternative cameras and processes. Only real question is get it here or in Yodobashi.
Edit: which you just answered.

Voted yes, go for it It's not a huge cost and if you don't you'll be forever wondering about the shots you could have made.
Must admit to being slightly envious of going to japan. As you know it's a beautiful country.have a great time and post some pics. Maybe open a thread to keep us all updated

I've also not seen anything which suggests you can do multiple exposures with the UWS. The Holga can do multiple and bulb so if the light is really poor has that bit more versatility, plus the creative opportunities.

I voted "Yes" - just because I've got far too many cameras and lenses, and I'd welcome some more people to share the shame of being in that situation.
In my defence..... at least I'm not the worst offender! (Adrian! )
Edit to add: Having just looked at another thread, I'm beginning to think that @john Farrell might be a match for Adrian!!)
Adrian's an amateur. Compared to Nick, I am!

Get it, yes, but don't take it on the trip. Stick to one system and ideally one camera with other(s) in reserve "just in case of failure", or if you would benefit from having different focal length lenses on a body, ready to hand instead of losing time when changing lenses and maybe missing a shot

To my own surprise I resisted. Had it in yellow (my preference from their colour selection) at Yodobashi in Kyoto but I didn't bite.
