Thanks Nige. I was out that day and determined not to take any shots with people in, but just couldn't resist and the only 2 shots I took with people turned out to be the best 2 of the day...

This was the first time out with a Fuji 27 f2.8 that came with a second hand camera. The lens was a little grubby and produced these wonderful flairs. When I got round to cleaning it, it never produced the same effect ever again Cold Night FXE10341 by Stephen Hayto, on Flickr Cold Night FXE10339 by Stephen Hayto, on Flickr

My memory said it was crows but now you said it , that was a different area that had loads of crows. I can now actually picture all of the pigeons in this area. I feel daft now, lol. Thanks for highlighting me.

Everything I took in India was brightly coloured, including this one, but I quite like the mono version. Window Shadow Mono by Nigel G, on Flickr I like that very much, lots of tones from the dark floor placed perfectly through to the high lights of the window again perfectly meeting the edge of the window frame. Sometimes things come together at the exact moment you are there to capture them which is capitalising on on what the day has given you.
