I don't go to Exhibitions as a rule and I was a bit suprised that a Lightroom search threw up 2012 when the touring Terracotta Army was in Brussels. I've got lots of pictures, all a bit ambitious and mainly of single exhibits, but I set myself an editing challenge to try to show this one was part of an Exhibition. If I'd realised in 2012 that we would in future be able to deal with noise then I'd have used a higher ISO. Canon 5D at ISO 1600 1/6 second at F4. Standard 24-105 L zoom at 28 mm. About 30 mins in Lightroom Classic this morning. Alpe d'Huez IMG_0276edit by Keith Hudson, on Flickr Skull in the Alpe d'Huez local museum, it is a local museum for local folk, with no English translations. Still you can get in for free with your ski pass.

My art in a Texas exhibition. 2018 Annual competition. I was persuaded by a very old Flickr-friend over there (who shares my darker side of art - well, he is East European). We both entered stuff and to my embarrasment I got a mention and he didn't. such is life. ap texas winner by Kate Ferris, on Flickr

In contrast to the exhibition when in the British Museum, you were not allowed to use cameras or camera phones even in the gift shop. There was probably a "no flash" rule [in Brussels]. A lot of places only ban photography because they don't want flashes going off all over the place and it is much easier to enforce an absolute rather than a conditional rule. I've a vague memory of being allowed to photograph somewhere using a 5D because it was easy to show that it had no internal flash.

Presumed to be fairly cosy. Can't think of anything else reasonably well wrapped up. DSCF2319.jpg by Pete, on Flickr
