OK, I think the first photo was with my 90 mm f/2 Leitz Summicron, the second was just the stock Fuji 18-50 at its widest setting. I did forget to bring my 21 mm f/4 Leitz Super Angulon (I think actually made by Schneider) and my pack of filters for the Cokin (Cockup) filter system, especially I wanted to try my ND grads.
Ah well, keep on trying. Yes, I'm very trying.

Rather than being silly, I'll say that I like these, Dave. Nice bit of coastline!

Nice to see it from that end. As an aside, when did it start being called Chesil Beach? I've always known it as Chesil Bank, confirmed by my Dorset in-breds...err...I mean in-laws.

I recall drowning worms at Burton Bradstock towards the west end of the bank, a mother and kiddy walked past about 1PM, then again about 5PM when the tide was near full and the kiddy said "OOOH look somebody's filled it up"

Yes, that's why I wanted to find out if there was any point, though the sensor in the XT-1 is pretty old by today's standards.
